Checking if an individual owns property  (back to main page)

1. Individual deed search

The individual deed search includes the following:
a) Property information such as the ERF number (You need to do an additional ERF search
to get the physical address)
b) Contract information such as ante nuptial agreements etc.
c) Bond Information

1.1 Click on the deeds searches product tab on the menu. (Menu will expand)

1.2 Click on the individual search link.
 

1.3 Enter the name + surname + ID number of the individual.
PS. You must also select the deeds office where the individual's property is located e.g. Pretoria

1.4 Click the submit enquiry button.

1.5 The report will display. Please take note of the following utilities.

• You will notice two blue stiffy like disk icons. The blue stiffy icon on the right opens the report
  in a new window. You may select from four options in what format you would like to save your report.
  These options include HTML, PDF, Image or Word. If you made your choice e.g. HTML, click the
  blue stiffy disk icon on the left and save the report to your computer.

1.6 You can also print the report by clicking on the printer icon.

PS You need to do an additional ERF search to get the physical address.
