Doing an ERF search to get the physical address  (back to main page)

1. ERF deed search

The ERF deed search includes the following:
a) Physical address
b) Bond information
c) Bond holders information

1.1 Click on the deeds searches product tab on the menu. (Menu will expand)

1.2 Click on the ERF search link.
 

1.3 Select the deeds office where the property is located e.g. Johannesburg.

1.4 Enter the township (suburb) name.

1.5 If you are not sure about the township (suburb) name you can click the "lookup" button.

1.6 Enter the township (suburb) name and click search.

1.7 The search may return one or multiple townships. Choose your township.

1.8 Enter the ERF number. There may also be a portion number.

1.9 Click the submit enquiry button.

1.10 The report will display. Please take note of the following utilities.

• You will notice two blue stiffy like disk icons. The blue stiffy icon on the right opens the report
  in a new window. You may select from four options in what format you would like to save your report.
  These options include HTML, PDF, Image or Word. If you made your choice e.g. HTML, click the
  blue stiffy disk icon on the left and save the report to your computer.

1.11 You can also print the report by clicking on the printer icon.
